National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official notification for UGC National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2026 Examination for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). Candidates who want to appear in the NTA UGC NET / JRF June 2026 Exam can apply online from 29 April 2026 to 20 May 2026. Application Fee

  • General : ₹1150/-
  • EWS / OBC : ₹600/-
  • SC / ST / PH : ₹325/-

Payment Mode :
Candidates can pay the examination fee through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or E-Challan mode.

Age Limit Details

For Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)

  • Maximum Age : 31 Years

For Assistant Professor (NET)

  • No Age Limit

Age Relaxation :
Age relaxation will be provided as per UGC NET June 2026 Examination Rules.

Eligibility Details

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

  • Passed / Appearing Master Degree in concerned subject with at least 55% marks from any recognized university in India.
  • 4-Year Bachelor Degree candidates are also eligible as per UGC NET June 2026 rules.
